About the Journal

BBDS Journal is devoted to applied research, interested in exploring the specific relationships that drawing and sketching establish across different areas of application. We welcome image-based submissions accompanied by supportive texts. Images may include work plans, doodles, photographs, collages, diagrams, visual concepts, or other creative formats.

This Journal publishes only original content, is a blind peer-reviewed, open-access, and regular scientific publication dedicated to fostering knowledge exchange among researchers and professionals. Is part of the broader experience of Wisethorough / Urban Creativity conferences and publishing initiatives, active since 2014. English is the working language. The handling of special issues follows the journal’s Reference Style, Editorial Procedures, Peer-Review Policy, and Ethical Guidelines. Depending on the topic, special issues may have specific scientific committee compositions.
